Essay Pledges and Their Pros and Cons
Essay Pledges and Their Pros and ConsWriting an effective Brooklyn College essay can be a bit more difficult than what most people may imagine. Some college students may think they can write a good essay in as little as five minutes, but this simply isn't true. One reason for this is because you will be required to use some college essay prompts. You will also have to be prepared to write several drafts of your college essay before it is finally handed in. You may be thinking that you can just whip out your laptop and work on your essay whenever you have some free time. You will have to understand that there are three main types of college essay prompts: obvious, small print, and filler. There are basically three ways to write an effective essay. Some obvious college essay prompts are those that make more sense than they do to the reader. This can include asking the reader if the idea in the paragraph is already being done in another way or asking the reader how they would think of a di fferent way to do a certain idea. Other types of easy prompts are similar to this, but they are quite common, such as asking the reader if they know anything about the topic.Writing prompts that make sense to the reader are the best. The reader will be able to absorb the information easily without them having to go through an entire paragraph about something they don't understand. These prompts are usually easy to write and can be modified a lot based on your own knowledge of the topic.Writing prompts that make sense to the reader are the ones that the reader really has to analyze to figure out what you are trying to say. This means that you may have to turn your thoughts around. This means that you should attempt to rewrite your paragraphs in such a way that they make more sense to the reader. If you can find an essay prompt that makes sense to the reader, then you should just try to write as much as you can on that topic. If you aren't successful at this, then you should stick with what you know about the topic. The good thing about essay prompts is that the only real difficulty you will face will be in the task of actually writing the essay.
